a month agoSet inside what appears to be a beautifully restored traditional bungalow, LOCAL offers a warm and charming setting for authentic Thai cuisine. The starters were presented with impressive attention to detail—each dish looked meticulous and inviting. For our main courses, we enjoyed the creamy white seafood tom yum soup and Australian beef. Both dishes were flavourful, well prepared and beautifully showcased the richness of Thai cooking. The friendly and attentive staff made the experience even more memorable, welcoming us with genuine Thai hospitality from beginning to end. A lovely place to enjoy authentic Thai flavours in an elegant yet homely atmosphere. 🇹🇭❤️

5 months agoHad a great experience at The Local in Bangkok. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance with a traditional Thai setting that gives an authentic feel. The food was really good, with rich flavors and well-presented dishes. It’s a great place to try local Thai cuisine in a more refined and comfortable environment. The staff were polite and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better. Overall, a very enjoyable place for a proper Thai meal, especially if you want a mix of authentic taste and a nice atmosphere.

2 months agoHad a wonderful dinner here with my friends. The restaurant has a charming traditional Thai atmosphere, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The curry chicken was our favorite dish—it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Great food, excellent service, and a memorable experience with my friends!

2 months agoThe food here is fantastic! I tried the appetizer set and the steamed fish, and both were delicious. It was quite crowded during my visit, so I wasn't able to get a table in the air-conditioned section. The outdoor seating was a bit uncomfortable as it gets quite hot, even with fans, and there were a few mosquitoes. Definitely come here for the authentic Thai food, but try to arrive early or book ahead if you want a table inside.

2 months agoLower than my expectations. The food was more towards salty taste but I’d prefer a bit sweet taste. However, for those who like salty taste might enjoy it. What I love about this place is free rice and there was two kinds of rice white Jasmine rice and Homnil Rice.
