3 months agoI’d recommend every pizza dish here, their pizzas are truly amazing. That said, my favorite would be the Pizza Fig & Brie. I really loved the combination of sweet fig and rich, creamy cheese. Another standout dish was the duck risotto, which I’d say was perfect. My friends all complimented this dish the most (not sure if it’s still available, as it was a special menu item when we visited) Overall, it’s a nice and cozy spot to hang out with friends. Loved the food, the portion sizes, and the prices as well. Would definitely go back!

2 months agoMy friend highly recommended this place, so I came all the way from Chonburi. Honestly, it was beyond my expectation! Yesterday I tried their Pizza Amatriciana and Pasta Clam Bottarga, both were perfectly cooked and packed with flavors. I couldn't stop thinking about the food, so I came back for lunch today before going back home. The Pizza Pesto & Burrata is a must-try, super fresh and creamy! The Fusilloni Ragu Bolognese and Golden Pompano were also fantastic. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town!"

4 months agoSparrow is a solid pizza spot in Bangkok. The ingredients are really good — especially the cheese and parma, which make a big difference. The place itself is cozy and has a nice vibe, with warm lighting (love the Louis Poulsen lamps). It feels relaxed and easy to sit and enjoy your meal. Also pet friendly, which is always a plus. Overall, just a good, easy place for pizza. Would come back.

3 weeks agoDear Restaurant Management, I am writing to share my feedback following my first visit to your restaurant. We chose your restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday because of its excellent reputation, and while the food was outstanding, unfortunately the service did not reflect the same standard. Having worked in hospitality industry for over six years, I fully understand the importance of reservation policies. Due to heavy rain, we arrived late and politely asked if our dining time could be extended slightly, as we only had 20 minutes to order, wait for our food, and dine. While I understand if this was not possible, what disappointed us was the lack of empathy or any attempt to offer an alternative. The communication from the duty manager felt very rigid and did not make us feel genuinely cared for. The most disappointing moment was during my friend’s birthday surprise. We had arranged for a surprise cake, but before presenting it, the duty manager brought the cake to our table and announced in front of everyone that we were not allowed to blow out the candles because of the cake’s glitter and would need to do so outside. This completely ruined the surprise. A more thoughtful approach would have been to discreetly inform the person who arranged the celebration before bringing the cake to the table. Great hospitality is not only about excellent food but also about creating memorable guest experiences with empathy, discretion, and emotional intelligence. Sadly, despite your wonderful cuisine, this became one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had. I hope you receive this feedback in the constructive spirit intended and that it helps enhance the guest experience in the future. Kind regards

6 months agoOne of the best Italian meals I’ve had. We ordered the clam and bottarga pasta and the carbonara pizza. The meal started with a complimentary bread served with balsamic vinegar and fragrant, high quality olive oil. Definitely not the cheap kind, which was a nice touch. The carbonara pizza was very authentic. You can taste the rendered guanciale fat, which is what separates a real carbonara from an imitation. That said, it’s quite light, and after the first slice, your palate adjusts and the smokiness becomes less noticeable. Personally, I preferred the pasta over the pizza, though that’s just personal preference. The pasta was creamy and well executed, likely cooked with the broth, and the clams were generous and perfectly cooked, not slimy at all. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. One thing I found odd was that we were told to return the table by 7.30pm even though we didn’t have a reservation. When we left around that time, only two other tables were occupied, so it felt a bit unnecessary. That aside, the food really stood out. I would definitely come back again.
