  Tuba, Ekamai Tuba is one of the more distinctive venues in the Thong Lor and Ekamai area, and after spending an evening there I understand why it has the reputation it does. The space itself doubles as a vintage furniture gallery, and the design is the first thing that hits you. Antiques, mismatched tables, oddball art, and collected curiosities fill every corner. It gives the place a lived-in character that feels earned rather than styled, which is rare in a neighborhood where most bars lean heavily on a curated aesthetic. The live music was the highlight of the night for me. I caught both a live sax set and a live rock band, and the performances were genuinely excellent on both fronts. Real musicians, real energy, and loud enough to matter without drowning out conversation. The food was a pleasant surprise. I expected bar-level pricing given the neighborhood and the quality of the programming, but the menu was well priced across the board. I ordered the steak and it was quite good, cooked properly and worth the price. Service was warm and attentive, the happy hour deals are generous, and the late closing time at 2am makes it a flexible choice whether you’re settling in for dinner or stopping by after somewhere else. A solid all-rounder with real personality. Recommended.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  The 6 th time I've ever been here. This time I was very impressed and felt safe. The staff asked me if I was allergic to food. I was allergic to nuts and milk. I felt that the shop paid attention to details. The best Thai food I've ever eaten in Bangkok! Every dish is full of authentic flavor. What really stands out is our waiter Aoom. She is attentive, friendly and makes our dining experience truly excellent. Highly recommended!

  Tuba Bar is a fantastic date night spot, especially when you’re with a Thai lady. Yes, many places offer both Western and Thai food, but Tuba does it really well. What sets it apart is the live music - a great mix of Thai songs and Western classics, so everyone can sing along and enjoy the atmosphere together. What stood out most to me was the service. Since temporarily moving to Bangkok, I’ve been recovering from an ankle operation, so accessibility matters a lot. I needed somewhere I could be dropped right at the front. While there are two large steps, the security guard and staff were incredibly helpful - assisting me, clearing a path, and guiding me to my seat with genuine care and respect. I’m currently on crutches and have a prosthetic limb, which makes things more challenging, but the team handled everything in a way that helped me keep my dignity while staying safe and comfortable. A special thanks to the security guard who seemed to control the entire traffic flow of the street so my Grab car could safely navigate around an oncoming ambulance, reverse back into position, and bring the door right to where I needed it. He even helped me get in. Huge thanks. Even the other guests were kind and patient, encouraging me to take my time. That says a lot about the environment. It’s welcoming, warm, and full of good energy. I truly recommend visiting and supporting this amazing place.

  I’ve heard this place hosts a lot of collab events, but I never really had a reason to visit until now. I’m a big fan of Subdae Kids, and they were having an event here, so I finally decided to check it out. I came on Valentine’s Day, so it was super crowded. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend calling the shop first, just in case you can reserve a queue ahead of time. First thing I noticed was the service. The staff were super sweet, friendly, and really attentive. They had a special DIY cookie menu that I wanted to try, but it was already sold out, so I ended up ordering the “Don’t Break My Heart” chocolate cake instead. It was honestly really good. Rich and sweet, but not overly sweet or heavy, so I could keep eating without getting sick of it. I finished it way faster than I expected. I also tried the “Gentle Snow Rose,” which is basically a rose milk shaved ice dessert. It came with a waffle on the side too, and the waffle was soft and bouncy. It went really well with the dessert. Before leaving, I walked around and took some photos of the event setup. Everything was decorated really nicely, and there were cute photo spots everywhere. Price-wise, it’s a bit on the expensive side (probably because it’s a collab event), but I’d say it’s still worth checking out at least once. The event runs until early May, so if you’re interested, it’s worth dropping by.

  A beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and elegant décor. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely a place I'd love to visit again.
